Why Will this Site Rock My Gluten-Free World?
Whether you’re new to a gluten-free diet or a seasoned vet, it doesn’t take long to come up with a list of grievances. Cardboard bread, ridiculous prices, alienation, subpar stand-ins…Did I mention the freakin’ horrific bread?

So, let me spell that out: One meal all gluten-free or gluten-full peeps will enjoy!

Recipe testing process
All the recipes shared on the site have been throughly tested. (Exhaustively so because I am my own worst critic!)
Generally dinner recipes are easier to test because seasonings can be adjusted as I’m cooking. However, the recipe is still made several times before publishing in order to streamline processes and ensure technique yields the best results.
When it comes to gluten-free baking, the testing process becomes a little more laborious. Once the perfect ratio of ingredients have been solidified, I move on to manageable ways to shape gluten-free dough, the best temperature to bake at, letting batters rest before baking, and more techniques I have found make a measurable difference in gluten-free baked goods.
Throughout this testing process I use my preferred gluten-free flour brand, Cup4Cup, because I find it mimics the taste and texture of traditional wheat flour baked goods the best.
Unfortunately, there are a variety of GF flour blends on the market, all made of different starches, and they do not perform identically. I bring this to attention because if you prefer a different flour, the batter may have a different consistency or yield varying results.
I personally answer every comment and question submitted and I am happy to troubleshoot issues that may arise from using a different flour brand or variances in equipment. Gluten-free baking is an unique science and I’m honored to be used as a resource!

Let’s Get To Know Each Other!
I live with my super cute hubs and four (also super cute) kids in northern Indiana, close to Lake Michigan and Chicago. It’s Indiana’s best kept secret, so keep it on the down-low.
My husband, Ryan, and I are currently in a that blissful stage of parenting where the kids actually want to be around us (perhaps too much). We take full advantage by requiring long family hikes, camping trips, and nightly dinners.
Then we offset all that family time with lots of date nights (because we are also at that blissful stage when they can stay home alone!)
If you really want to get all up in my business, go to my About Me page. Titillating stuff!
But what I really want to know is more about you! I respond to every comment and question. My recipes are here for you, so unless we become friends, I don’t know what to create for you! Help me, help you.
I spend a fair time (too much) on Instagram, so you can always hit me up there. Follow me for the latest recipes, behind the scenes footage, and to get a peek into our day-to-day lives.
If you’d like to keep our relationship strictly professional, Facebook and Pinterest are also good ways to get my latest seasonal content, without all the oversharing.
