Simply, THE BEST, Raspberry Vodka Martinis
There are some favorite cocktail recipes that I have a hard time not coming back to time and again because, well, they just always hit. A perfect raspberry martini recipe is the ideal balance of sweet, but not overly done, fizzy, with a hint of citrus, and of course, lots of raspberry flavor thanks to Chambord.
Just like nostalgic dishes, libations can bring back the memories. This incredible espresso martini takes me back to my days of waiting tables in Nantucket, a creamy frothy Colorado Bulldog reminds me of my time living in that gorgeous state, and these Blackberry martinis went down WAY too easy on an infamous New Year’s Eve.
So what’s the story with this recipe? It’s an ode to Prince’s Raspberry Beret. As a child of the 80’s, his death struck a little close to the heartstrings. We paid tribute with a weekend of dancing, and, of course, lots of raspberry martinis to go around.
Can I Use A Different Flavored Vodka?
This martini recipes uses citrus vodka since lemon and raspberry is such a sublime combination! However, alternative vodka flavors may be substituted. Try regular vodka, chocolate vodka (made by Van Gough), or raspberry vodka in place of the citrus.
More Tasty Versions!
- Chocolate Raspberry – For a creamy chocolatey flavor use 2 ounces vodka, 2 ounces chambord, and 2 ounces chocolate liqueur, such as Godiva.
- White Chocolate Raspberry– Same recipe as above but using Godiva white chocolate liqueur instead.
- Raspberry Lemon Drop – Use raspberry martini recipe, but replace cranberry juice with freshly squeezed lemon juice.
- Raspberry Lovers – Instead of citrus vodka pair raspberry vodka and chambord for a very berry martini!
- Instead of using simple syrup, use triple sec for an orange flavored sweetness.
