Notes
Make-Ahead, Storing, and Freezing
If storing at room temperature, I recommend using within a few hours. The longer it sits, it will absorb moisture and soften. Once it's cooled completely, cover with aluminum foil until ready to use.For longer storage I suggest freezing it. I like to double wrap mine. Stack about four together, wrap in plastic wrap, then transfer to a freezer ziplock bag. Pull out what you need and let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before using. If you find your crostini has gotten a little soft upon storing, you can always pop it back in the oven for a few minutes to crisp up again.
