Main Ingredients

Peanuts ∣ Butter ∣ Flour Apples ∣ Brown Sugar ∣ Cream Marshmallow Fluff ∣ Powdered Sugar ∣ Peanut Butter Chocolate Chips ∣ Snickers

Peanut Crust: In a food processor mix together peanuts, flour, brown sugar, butter, & water. Press into a pie plate and bake for 20 minutes.

Caramel Layer: In a saucepan melt sugar, then add butter. Whisk in cream, and stir in peanuts.

Apple Filling: Saute apples in butter until soft.  Pour into crust and pour peanut caramel over top.

Nougat: Combine marshmallow fluff, peanut butter, and powdered sugar. Spread the nougat over the cooled caramel apples.

Topping: Melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter together. Spread on top and sprinkle with chopped snickers.

Shortcuts / Time Savers:  – Use store bought salted caramel instead of homemade.  – Instead of chocolate topping, drizzle on hot fudge sauce.  – Replace the peanut crust with a no bake graham cracker crust.
