Oatmeal Creme Pie Cake

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! I was prepared to like this, but I didn’t…I LOVED it!! Sooo yummy & exactly like the Little Debbie pie, but better!!! Thanks so much!!!



Oatmeal Cake: Quick Oats 𑗅 Butter Sugar 𑗅 Brown Sugar Eggs 𑗅 Molasses 𑗅Flour Baking Powder 𑗅 Baking Soda Spices Filling: Egg white 𑗅 Vanilla Heavy Cream  Powdered Sugar Shortening

Combine boiling water, and oats. Let sit until cool. Meanwhile beat together butter, sugars, eggs, vanilla, and molasses.

Let's Make It!

Mix in the dry ingredients and then finally add cooled oatmeal. Bake in layer cake pans for 20 minutes.

For the filling whisk together the egg white with powdered sugar over simmering water, about 3 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients and beat until fluffy.

Spread filling between the oatmeal cake, slice, and enjoy!

Can I make this gluten-free?

Yes! This cake also works wonderfully with gluten-free flour and GF oats.
