Mozzarella String Cheese Sticks Almond Flour Parmesan Cheese Italian Seasoning Garlic Powder Egg Oil (for frying)

Cut the cheese sticks in half. Combine the almond flour, parmesan, and seasonings in a shallow bowl and beat the egg in another. 

Dip the cheese in the breading, then the egg, and dip again in the breading. Freeze until solid on a lined baking sheet, at least 1 hour.

Add oil to a large deep skillet. Heat 1-2 inches oil to 350ºF. Fry a batch of mozzarella sticks until browned on all sides, about 2 minutes.

Important tips to remember!

Measure your oil temperature for proper cooking (melted inside with crispy exterior).

Don't cook too many at time or it will bring down the temp of oil.

The cheese needs to be frozen so the outside can cook before the cheese melts out.

They taste just like ooey, gooey, old school mozzarella sticks except naturally gluten free and low carb!
