Ingredients

Orange Juice | Sugar Brown Sugar | Garlic GF Rice Vinegar | Ginger GF Soy Sauce | Orange Red Chili Pepper Flakes Cornstarch | Chicken Egg | GF Flour | Oil

Add all of the sauce ingredients, except the cornstarch, to a small sauce pan and bring to a simmer. Then mix in the cornstarch and water and cook until thickened.

Let's Make It!

In a deep skillet, place about 2 inches of oil and heat until 350ºF.

In a large bowl, whisk an egg. In another bowl, combine all the dry ingredients. Toss the chicken pieces in the egg, then the flour mixture, then put on a baking sheet.

Cook the chicken in the oil in 3 batches. Occasionally flip the chicken until evenly browned. Transfer to a paper towel lined baking sheet.

Toss the chicken in the orange sauce and serve immediately over rice and enjoy!

What Else Can I Serve This With?

For a low carb option, cauliflower rice works as well. Other good side dishes include steamed or sautéed broccoli, green beans, sugar snap peas, bell peppers, or carrots.
