Butter (or DF sub) White Mushrooms Garlic Onion Powder Chicken Broth Cornstarch Milk or DF Milk

Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the mushrooms and seasonings.

Whisk together the chicken broth and cornstarch. Add to the mushrooms and cook until very thick.

Add a reduced amount of milk if using for a condensed soup substitute or more to thin into soup consisitency.

Can I Make This Recipe Dairy Free?

Yes. To make gluten-free, dairy- free cream of mushroom soup, replace the butter with avocado oil and use unsweetened non-dairy milk.
