Sugar Cream Pie

So Easy!

This was indeed much easier than the recipe I have been making for way over 20 years. It was on point and I did not have to shake the pie 6 times to make sure it was done.



1 pie crust, unbaked granulated sugar brown sugar cornstarch half & half vanilla butter

In a medium saucepan whisk together the sugar, brown sugar, and cornstarch. Add half & half.

Let's Make It!

Continue to whisk until thickened.

Stir in the milk and vanilla until throughly combined.

Pour into a partially baked pie crust and bake for 20 minutes.

Cool completely before cutting and serving. Enjoy!

What can I use in place of half&half?

Heavy cream may be used in place of half&half, but regular milk is not recommended.
