Sloppy Joe Style Tacos

It’s easy to throw a packet of taco seasoning mix on ground beef and call it taco night. However, if you want to enjoy some freakin’ extraordinary tacos on your next Taco Tuesday, spend a few extra minutes making this sweet and spicy version of sloppy joe tacos.

Ingredients

Ground Beef | Onion Garlic | Tomatoes Worcestershire Sauce Chili Sauce | Chili Powder Brown Sugar | Cumin Onion Powder | Sour Cream Garlic Powder | Limes Cilantro

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef until cooked through. Drain the grease and transfer to a bowl.

Let's Make It!

Add the onion and garlic to the pan and cook until translucent. Then add the tomatoes and cook until the sauce thickens.

Add the cooked ground beef back to the skillet with all of the seasonings, and chili sauce. Mix well, and allow to simmer.

Spread the beef mixture in a prepped baking pan and bake for 30-40 minutes. This intensifies and infuses the flavor!

Assemble your tacos and enjoy!

Top Tips!

– The lime sour cream can be made up to two days ahead of time. Refrigerate in an airtight container. – Sloppy joe tacos are the perfect make-ahead meal because it tastes even better after the seasoned beef sits and melds. Make it the day before or earlier in the day and bake right before serving.
