Sausage Muffins with Cheese

Sausage Muffins with cheese are perfect for breakfast, brunches, or a satisfying savory snack. These fluffy homemade sausage cheddar muffins  do not use Bisquick.

Ingredients

Breakfast Sausage Maple Syrup Cheddar Cheese Milk | Egg | Butter All Purpose Flour

Begin by cooking the sausage. Drain on a paper towel lined plate.

Let's Make It!

Whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and maple syrup. Stir in the cooked sausage and cheddar cheese.

Whisk together the milk, egg, and maple syrup. Pour into flour mixture then add the melted butter.

Sprinkle additional cheese on top, if desired. Bake for 18-20 minutes.

Can these be frozen?

To freeze, wrap the muffins individually in plastic wrap and transfer to an airtight container or ziplock freezer bag. Freeze up to 3 months.
