Ingredients

Olive Oil | Egg Italian Sausage | Ricotta Ground Beef Onion | Garlic Crushed Tomatoes Italian Seasoning Brown Sugar Parmesan Cheese Gluten-Free Lasagna Noodles

Start by making the sauce by browning the sausage and ground beef and stirring in remaining ingredients. Simmer for 30 minutes.

Let's Make It!

In a separate bowl, combine all of the ingredients for the ricotta filling, then set aside.

In a large baking dish, spread some of the meat sauce along the bottom, then add uncooked lasagna noodles on top.

Evenly spread some of the ricotta mixture along the top of the noodles, then top with the mozzarella cheese.

Repeat the layering order again. Cover the dish with aluminum and bake until the noodles are cooked through. Then serve and enjoy!

Modifications

For a spicier recipe, use hot Italian sausage and add a pinch of crushed red pepper to the sauce. And – if you don’t care for ricotta, substitute 16 ounces cottage cheese. At least 4% milk fat works best.
