Ingredients

Butter Light Brown Sugar Sugar Egg Milk or Dairy-Free Milk Vanilla Gluten-Free Flour Baking Soda Chocolate Chips

Whisk together the sugars, egg, vanilla, and milk. 

Stir in the gluten-free flour, baking soda, and salt. 

Stir in the chocolate chips. Cover the bowl and let it rest for 30 minutes. (Secret trick!)

Scoop onto baking sheets and bake for 12 minutes, or until ooey gooey delicious!

Why let the cookie dough rest?

This allows time for the fats and liquids to saturate the starches, getting rid of any off-putting sandy grittiness.
