Eggs Sugar Vanilla Extract Almond Flour Cornstarch Baking Powder Apples Sliced Almonds

In a large bowl, beat together the egg yolks, sugar and extract until pale in color.

Let's Make It!

Add in all of the dry ingredients and mix together until the batter is thick.

In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until peaks form. Then fold into the almond flour mixture with the apples.

Evenly spread the batter into a prepped cake pan. Then top with the sliced almonds and sugar.

Bake until the outside is slightly browned, then allow to cool for an hour before serving.

How Should I Store Leftovers?

For best results do not wrap the cake in plastic wrap for storing because of the amount of moisture. It’s best covered lightly with foil, which doesn’t trap in moisture and make the cake soggy.
