Butter | Onion Carrots | Celery Garlic | Chicken Flour | Chicken Broth Parsley | Onion Powder Garlic Powder | Thyme Evaporated Milk Frozen Peas | Milk

Start by melting the butter in a large dutch oven. Add in the vegetables and cook until tender. Stir in the garlic, chicken, and sprinkle flour over everything.

Let's Make It!

Slowly add in the broth,  seasonings, and stir until the soup has thickened. Add the peas and milk.

For the dumplings, whisk together the dry ingredients. Add the cooled butter, milk, and stir until a soft dough forms.

Use a cookie scoop to scoop out the dough and drop it into the simmering liquid. Repeat for all of the dough.

Gently stir the soup to evenly cook the dumplings. Cook uncovered for another 10-12 minutes, then enjoy!

Why Isn't My Soup Thick?

The soup will become thicker once the dumplings are added to the top. Flour from the dumplings also helps thicken the soup. Don’t be tempted to whisk in additional thickener until after the dough has cooked through.
