Ingredients

Beef Chuck Roast | Onions Garlic | Flour Tomato Paste Dry Red Wine Beef Broth Thyme | Bay Leaves Brown Sugar Yukon Gold Potatoes Carrots | Frozen Peas

In a large bowl, combine the beef with the pepper and salt and mix together.

Let's Make It!

Heat oil in a large dutch oven and sear each beef piece for a few minutes on each side. Then remove the seared pieces and set aside.

Add in the onions. Cook until tender, then add in the flour, garlic, tomato paste, and red wine.

Add broth, cover and bake for 90 minutes, then add veggies and bake until everything is tender, about 1 hour more.

Stir in the frozen peas. Once mixed, serve immediately and enjoy!

Can I Make This In The Instant Pot?

Yes! Brown beef in 2 stages, cook onions but omit flour. Add liquid, onions and beef back to pot. Cook high pressure for 35 mins w/ 10 min natural release. Add the peas. Mix cornstarch with water. Stir use SAUTE function until thickened.
