Ingredients

Ziti Pasta Eggs Whole-Milk Ricotta Mozzarella Cheese Parmesan Cheese Marinara Sauce

Bring water to a boil and cook the pasta. While the pasta cooks, mix together all of the ricotta mixture.

Let's Make It!

In a large baking dish, spread some of the marinara sauce, then top with half of the cooked pasta.

Next, layer on the cheese filling, followed by half of the sauce, then the remaining pasta, marinara and mozzarella cheese.

Bake for 40-45 minutes or until hot throughout. Then allow to cool slightly before serving and enjoy!

do i have to use parmesan?

No. You can replace the fresh parmesan with more mozzarella cheese. I like the depth of flavor and saltiness it adds to the ricotta filling, though.
