Make this sparkling Rose Sangria your easy drink of the summer! Sangria rosé can made by the glass using leftover wine or in a pitcher for a crowd using strawberries, watermelon, raspberries, juice, and rose wine.
In a large pitcher stir together rose wine, grapefruit juice, brandy, simple syrup, and triple sec. Do not add soda water or Sprite until ready to serve.
Stir in all the fruit, or, alternatively, set some of it aside for adding to glasses as a garnish. Cover pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, up to overnight.
If serving all at once, stir in soda water or Sprite. Pour into glasses filled with ice or without. Or, pour sangria into glasses and top with 2 ounces of soda or Sprite. Makes 6 glasses.
Leftover Wine Sangria By the Glass
In a pint glass muddle fruit on bottom of the glass. Pour in wine, grapefruit juice, simple syrup, brandy, and triple sec. Stir.
Add ice, if using, and pour in soda water or sprite. Stir again and enjoy!

Notes
How Long Should Sangria Sit?
Sangria without the soda or the Sprite added can usually be kept in the fridge for two days, but depends on the type of fruit added. Since rose sangria uses soft berries, they will disintegrate if they marinate too long, so is best enjoyed within a day or two.Sangrias using hearty fruit, such as apples and oranges can be stored up to three days.If you have already added the soda or Sprite, you have to keep in mind that it may go flat fairly quickly - so drink up. Also, store any leftover sangria in the fridge without ice.
Using Different Liquors
Brandy is an inexpensive liquor that gives a more authentic taste, but it isn't the only booze available to make a tasty sangria. Consider giving these liquors a try in the same proportion as the brandy:
Rum - Dark rum would pair well with pineapple juice and a white wine. Use light rum interchangeably with brandy as well.
Vodka - Sangria with vodka is a great alternative if you don't want have brandy on hand.
Flavored vodkas - Try one of these flavors for a fun twist: orange, raspberry, strawberry, vanilla, grapefruit, peach, or white grape.
Bourbon or whisky
More Fruits / Aromatics to Add
Generally, less delicate fruits, such as apples, oranges, grapes, and peaches hold up better while sitting. Berries infuse a lot of flavor in the sangria quickly, but don't have as long as shelf life.
Blackberries
Blueberries
Orange or tangerine
Apple
Mango
Pear
Peach
Grapes (I would cut in half to eliminate choking hazard)
