Why is this the best biscuit recipe?

Fluffy, tender biscuits with no rolling or shaping! Tastes so amazing, no one suspects they are gluten-free!

Ingredients Needed:

Gluten-Free Flour Baking Powder Salt Baking Soda Butter Yogurt Egg Oil Lemon Juice



The flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, and baking soda in a large bowl.



Add the chilled butter pieces to the flour mixture. Use a pastry blender, fork, or fingers to cut butter into the flour until small pieces remain.



Whisk the yogurt, egg, oil, and lemon juice. Stir the yogurt mixture into the flour mixture until no flour pockets remain and thoroughly combined.

drop & Bake


Grease a ⅓ cup measuring cup and scoop a heaping amount of biscuit dough into it. Drop onto the baking sheet. Bake 15 minutes.

What can i substitute for yogurt?

Use sour cream, vanilla yogurt, or dairy-free sour cream or yogurt.

More tips!

Use any sort of vinegar for the lemon juice. Sprinkle sugar on top and turn them into gluten-free shortcakes. These biscuits are very freezer-friendly and great for entertaining or holiday meals.
